If you love Nutella, we have some bad news…

We know that Nutella is one of the best tasting products on the market that everybody loves, and you and your family might be one of the millions of consumers. But have you ever taken the time to do some research of what it actually consists of? Well, we did. And we have some bad news.

The advertisements for Nutella always tell us how there are no harmful and heavy processed chemicals and artificial flavours, how it is natural and healthy to eat. But what we found in our research, states the complete opposite of those advertisements.

Here is why you and your family should never eat Nutella again!

#1 Sugar – Nutella isn’t using some natural based sugar that is healthy for consumption but instead, it is using the cheap GMO sugar beef that is filled with pesticides that our body isn’t even able to recognize. What is scary is that these sugars can pass in our blood brain barrier and can destroy our brain cells which can later on cause ADHD, migraine, autism, depression, anxiety and ADD.

#2 Soy Lethicin – By now we have published tons of articles about how soy is extremely bad for your health and can even cause cancer. Soy beans are a complete opposite of soy lethicin. Soy lethicine has been linked to thyroid depression, weight gain, delayed menstruation, fatique, premature puberty and breast cancer. So all the harmful chemicals found in the Nutella is definitely something that you want to avoid.

#3 Palm Oil – Palm oil is overall good for your body but it is not clearly stated how it is obtained. Researches point out that palm oil in an oxidized state is harmful to the biochemical functions of our body. They say that most of the food manufacturers use oxidized palm oil in their products which means that the palm oil we consume through the Nutella is oxidized. In case you haven’t researched or you didn’t know, some of the diseases and problems that the oxidized palm oil can cause are heart toxicity, also toxicity of the liver, lungs, and kidney.

#4 Vanillin – Vanillin is the artificial flavour that tricks your brain into thinking you are consuming real vanilla. And yet the advertisements say that there are “no artificial sweeteners” involved. Nice try Nutella.

#5 Skim Milk – The Skim milk is actually milk from cows filled with chemicals such as GMO corn and antibiotics, in order to produce more milk, for a cheaper price. This eventually leads to the cows getting sick and producing milk. So are you still confident enough to drink skim milk?

But wait there is more. Of course Nutella tastes really good, so leaving you without your favourite chocolate food is something we cannot do, that is why we have prepared a recipe for a homemade Nutella that you can make in under an hour!

What you will need:

-½ cup of hazelnut or almond butter (both are good)
-2 tablespoons of raw honey (or maple syrup)
-2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder

How to prepare it:

Place the butter and the cocoa powder into a bowl and mix it well. Then add the honey or the maple syrup. After that, adjust and taste the seasonings according to your liking. If the mixture needs to be thinned, warm up coconut, walnut or hazelnut oil to liquid consistency and add it to the mixture.
