Remove Toxins Of The Body Through The Feet
There are a number of different ways that are recommended for removing toxins from your body. There are diet cleanses, charcoal cleanses, and other types of ways to clear your body of harmful elements but these all require you to eat and drink certain things.
When you choose to detox your body through your feet all you have to do is apply certain ingredients to your feet or soak them in special foot baths in order to remove the toxins from your body. The following methods here will show you how to remove toxins from the body through the feet.
How To Remove Toxins With Foot Baths
Baths are relaxing and help cleanse your skin. Foot baths are no exception. When you soak your feet in specially prepared foot baths, you can remove toxins from your body and help your body relax after a long day. These different foot baths can help boost your health and improve your quality of life.
1. Salt Detox Foot Bath
This specific foot detox can help with skin irritations and can increase your magnesium levels. You’ll need:
1/4 cup Himalayan salt
1/4 cup Epsom salt
1/4 baking soda
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
You can also gather some essential oils if you’d like (lavender is great for relaxation). Start by boiling water and transferring it to a glass jar. Dissolve all of the salts and baking soda in that jar and set it aside. Fill your tub with water hot enough for you to handle and add the apple cider vinegar to it. Pour in the salt water mixture and your essential oils. Soak your feet for at least 30 minutes. Keep in mind, this foot bath can make you tired or even lightheaded if you’re more sensitive to cleanses.
2. Clay Detox Foot Bath
If you think you need a stronger detox, this clay bath might be better for you. You’ll need
1/2 cup bentonite clay
1/2 cup Epsom salts
And your favorite essential oils
Fill your bath with warm to hot water, dissolve the salt, and add in your oils. In a separate mixing bowl, mix the clay with a little water until the larger clumps are broken up and dissolved (use plastic or wooden mixing tools, not metal). Add the clay mixture to the bath and soak your feet for 20 minutes or more.
3. Oxygen Detox Foot Bath
This cleanse can help if you’re battling a cold or dealing with body aches. It’ll also help with allergies and skin problems. You’ll need
2 cups of hydrogen peroxide
1 tablespoon of dried ginger powder
These amounts can be increased for a more powerful detox. Start by filling your tub with water hot enough that you can stand. Add in all of the ingredients and soak your feet for at least 30 minutes.
Other Methods of Detoxification
While foot baths can work well, they aren’t the only way to remove toxins from your body through your feet. Foot pads are a popular option for detoxing your body. They are used frequently in Japan and are now sold throughout the world. Foot pads can stimulate the kidneys and liver which can help pull toxins from your blood.
You can make your own detox pads at home:
1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
1 tablespoon of chopped onion
1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
Some self-adhesive gauze pads, a saucepan, and a clean pair of white athletic socks.
Bring the vinegar to a boil in the saucepan then add the garlic and onion. Steep the mixture for 10 minutes then remove it from the heat and allow it to cool for around 20 minutes. Once cooled, pour the mixture directly onto the gauze pads taking care to saturate them.
Squeeze out the excess fluids and make sure that the sticky sides of the pads remain dry. Adhere the pads to the middle of the soles of your feet. Put the socks on to keep the pads in place. Wear them while you sleep and remove them in the morning.
