Train the Brain to Fall Asleep in 1 Minute

Is it hard to fall asleep every night? Try the 4-7-8 breathing method that will make you sleepy in a minute. Sounds amazing!

This was pioneered by the Harvard expert Dr. Andrew Weil and means breathing to counts of 4, 7 and 8. This lets the oxygen fill the lungs more and the mind gets calmed.

Some people have severe insomnia. We say this is due to bad food prior sleeping, screens in the bedroom, stress…and it can be really hard to fall asleep.

But what is this 4, 7 and 8 method?

This was developed by the wellness expert of Harvard, Weil Andrew who studies meditation, breathing and stress management. This is really simple. Breathe through the nose for 4 seconds, hold it for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds. This slows the heart rate and makes chemicals for soothing the brain.

I am a sceptic and if you are too, try it! I swear by this! It was amazing and by the 4th repetition, I was sleepy.

This is more than just training for sleep. When we get stressed, the endocrine system makes adrenaline of the adrenal glands. This makes fast heart rate and makes you feel bad.

You breathe really fast and shallow but with this method, you can slow down the heart and feel good. After some time, the heart rate will be improved and mind will be clear. Try this tonight!
